MICROPROCESSOR UPGRADE
RELAY INTERFACE CABINETS
- RSA has a relay interface cabinet that significantly reduces installation time of microprocessor upgrades and is designed to aid installation ergonomics.
- The cabinet was designed at the request of a Class I railroad that was experiencing difficulty with the installation of a microprocessor upgrade package.
- The cabinet is installed into the high voltage cabinet's module compartment next to the microprocessor chassis.

- The box is designed to be quick connected to the microprocessor chassis and other components, thus significantly reducing installation time by eliminating a significant amount of individual point to point wiring that otherwise would be required.

RELAY INTERFACE CONNECTIONS |
- The box is shipped on a pallet that is used to raise it to the locomotive cab window for installation.
- Electricians can then slide the cabinet through the cab window and quickly install it into the module compartment.
